Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Ten Second Games (“we”, “us”) operates tensecondgames.com, a site that hosts short browser arcade games. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit and how it is used.

Information we collect

You can play without an account. Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically receive standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP. See Analytics below for how we use Google Analytics.

Some games store preferences or progress locally in your browser (for example via localStorage). That data stays on your device unless you clear it or you choose to sync it (see Optional sign-in below).

Optional sign-in (Google)

If you tap Sign in to sync, we use Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. Google shares a name, email address, and user id with us so we can recognize you on another device. We store your hub credits, cosmetic unlocks, and synced game progress (level unlocks, high scores, best times, and in-progress puzzles where a game has them) in Firebase Firestore, keyed to that user id. We do not use your Google account to post or email on your behalf.

Sign-in is optional. Signing out leaves the copy on that browser; it does not delete the cloud save. To delete your cloud save and account data, contact us via the Contact page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand which pages and games are visited, how long sessions last, and whether the site is working well. This may include page URLs, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and referral information. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or by enabling Do Not Track; we skip Analytics when Do Not Track is on.

For Google’s own details, see the Google Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data practices.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

For more detail, see Google’s Advertising Technologies and the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies may be set by us, our host, or third parties (including Google) for advertising, measurement, and basic site function. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect ad personalization or some features.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Games or pages may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
